WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Air Canada Vacations is executing a major business and technology transformation program (“Leapfrog”), including the implementation of a new Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Bloomreach Customer Data Platform (CDP). This role is responsible for the technical oversight of data and integrations to ensure CRM and CDP are implemented as scalable, secure enterprise platforms and integrated with ACV’s broader ecosystem (e.g., reservations system, digital channels, and downstream platforms).
Role Purpose
Own the technical and integration oversight for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Bloomreach CDP implementation—ensuring data integrity, identity resolution, and reliable integrations across ACV systems. Acting as ACV’s internal technical authority, you will work with architects and system integrators to validate designs, reduce delivery risk, and help ACV retain the knowledge needed for stable post‑go‑live operations Key Responsibilities Serve as the technical CRM/CDP SME within IT throughout implementation. Define and validate CRM/CDP data model requirements and data flows supporting unified customer profiles. Define/validate identity resolution and matching logic (deduplication, stitching, and rules needed to unify customer profiles Define/validate data ingestion patterns (batch and real‑time options) and oversee data onboarding approach with vendors. Partner with architects and system integrators on CRM–CDP integration design and end‑to‑end data movement across systems. Provide technical input on interfaces and integration mechanisms (e.g., REST APIs, webhooks, file-based imports) relevant to CDP ingestion/export needs Ensure non‑functional requirements are addressed, including data quality, performance, security, and compliance Participate in system/integration testing, data migration validation, and production readiness activities. Create and maintain technical documentation and support internal knowledge transfer to enable ACV to operate and enhance CRM/CDP post go‑live.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field An equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience will be considered Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., Customer Engagement, Customer Service, Sales, or Solutions Architect track) Microsoft Power Platform certifications (Power Platform Functional Consultant or equivalent) Customer Data Platform (CDP) certifications (Bloomreach preferred; Salesforce CDP, Adobe, or equivalent acceptable) Data or integration‑related certifications (data modeling, data engineering Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst / Technical Analyst supporting enterprise platforms. Strong hands‑on experience with MS Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement in areas such as architecture concepts, data model, & integrations. Experience supporting CDP implementations; Bloomreach experience is an asset. Identity resolution / customer profile unification concepts (matching rules, deduplication). Knowledge of Data ingestion approaches (real‑time vs scheduled/batch). Knowledge of Integration patterns and common interfaces (REST APIs, file-based imports). Knowledge of Proven ability to review vendor/SI designs, identify risk, and drive outcomes.
Bilingual in French and English (Verbal & Written)
Technical Skills Dynamics 365 CE platform and data modelling CDP concepts: ingestion, segmentation/journeys enablement, activation flows (platform knowledge) Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and file‑based data imports Cust-360: identity resolution, de-duplication Leadership & Interpersonal Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business, IT, and vendors Collaborative, team‑oriented working style Sound judgment and structured problem solving Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast‑paced delivery environments Ability to lead technical discussions/workshops and drive decisions Ownership mindset and accountability for outcomes WHY WORK WITH US?
