Your impact

You will be a key driver of how we protect people across our global operations. By shaping enterprise hygiene standards, improving exposure‑risk controls, and elevating data‑driven decision‑making, you will directly influence worker health outcomes and strengthen our ability to prevent occupational illness. Your leadership will help convert complex science into practical solutions, guide frontline teams in reducing significant exposures, and ensure our hygiene programs meet leading‑practice expectations across all sites.

##As part of our team you will

  • Support the development and implementation of global hygiene standards, systems, and monitoring programs.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise to site and business unit teams to resolve hygiene gaps and improve exposure‑risk controls.
  • Analyze health and hygiene data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead or support major hygiene investigations and enterprise assurance activities.
  • Develop enterprise programs such as carcinogen management and digital hygiene platforms.
  • Build capability across our global hygiene community through coaching and knowledge‑sharing.
  • Partner across functions to align hygiene initiatives with broader safety, sustainability, and operational programs.

##Prerequisites for your success in this role

  • Certification as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or equivalent recognized occupational hygiene qualification.
  • Proven track record delivering complex occupational hygiene programs in heavy industry, from risk assessment through to program design, implementation, and assurance.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing exposure‑risk controls, monitoring programs, and hygiene standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex exposure datasets and translate findings into action.
  • Proven ability to influence and advise multidisciplinary teams across multiple geographic regions.
  • Experience supporting investigations, audits, or assurance activities related to health and hygiene.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally; English fluency required (additional languages beneficial).

##Your work environment

You will operate within our global Health & Safety function, partnering closely with regional and site teams. Work includes office‑based analysis, virtual collaboration across time zones, and periodic site travel to support investigations, assurance, and capability building.

We understand no candidate will meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you!
