About The Role We are actively looking for a Document Controller. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s Document Control System to ensure controlled documents are accurate, current, and accessible. This role supports operational effectiveness and compliance by managing the full document lifecycle, including tracking, collecting, reviewing, final editing, version control, and controlled distribution of procedures, standards, and records in both electronic and hard copy formats.

Working closely with departments across the site, the Document Controller ensures documents are issued in a timely and consistent manner, archived appropriately, and preserved to maintain document integrity and traceability. The role also supports audits, management of change, and continuous improvement initiatives by ensuring documentation meets internal standards and regulatory requirements, while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of accuracy and organization.

This role will be based at our Cote Gold Mine Site (Gogama, ON) on a Monday- Thursday schedule 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all controlled documentation within the master document control system.
  • Maintain quality records in accordance with applicable standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating documentation activities and responding to audit requests.
  • Manage document change and Management of Change (MOC) requests, including coordination of reviews and meetings.
  • Perform self‑audits to ensure current document revisions are available, accurate, and properly controlled.
  • Investigate and respond to corrective actions related to document control non‑conformances.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to users on document control practices and systems.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure timely document processing, resolve priorities, and support continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Grade 12 or equivalent, with related experience.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a business-related field would be considered an asset.

Relevant Experience

  • A minimum 2 years of document control experience.
  • Experience with electronic document control system is required.
  • Experience in the mining industry is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience with marking, labeling standards and practices is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $ 70,800- $97,400

The final offer is determined based on your individual skills, qualifications, and competencies and aligned with our commitment to internal equity.
