This is a casual Research Assistant position requiring approximately 6 hours per week, beginning in the first few weeks of the Winter 2026 semester. The position primarily involves working as part of a research team to complete training and assist with running participants for a research study conducted on the University of Regina campus. Availability for multiple 2-hour time slots per week is required.

Position Requirements

  1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology

  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills

  3. Experience working on research projects

  4. Completion of PSYC 204 (or an equivalent Research Methods course) with a competitive grade

  5. Ability to provide unofficial academic transcripts

  6. Previous research experience with human participants is preferred

Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 5791 Research Salary Range As Per CUPE 5791 Research Collective Agreement Status Casual Work Hours

Approximately 6 hours per week on an as needed basis.
