NTT DATA's client is currently seeking a consultant to join their team! This position is fully remote, available to candidates located in Canada only.
As a consultant, you will work with a highly motivated, dynamic development team to implement, support, and enhance PeopleSoft FSCM.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with modules such as General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payables, Program Management, Purchasing, e-procurement, Expenses, Accounts Receivables, Billing, and Project Costing.
- Gathering requirements and implementing approval workflows using the PeopleSoft AWE tool.
- Documenting requirements, business process flows, and functional designs.
- Designing, developing, debugging, bug-fixing, and unit testing the PeopleSoft application.
- Providing support through incident acknowledgement, analysis, resolution, testing, and closure.
- Interacting with business users, functional leads, and customers to understand and define requirements and participate in design and development.
- Independently leading module implementations and providing support.
- Conducting assessments and evaluations of reporting needs and making recommendations on reporting tools.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of PeopleSoft Development and Support experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with PeopleTools, including Peoplecode, App Engine, Workflow, SQR, Component Interfaces, App packages, Integration Broker, web services, Query, XML publisher, UNIX, Cobol, and complex SQL statements.
- At least 3 years of functional exposure in FSCM modules such as General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payables, Program Management, Purchasing, e-procurement, Cash Management, Customer Contracts, Expenses, Grants, Accounts Receivables, Billing, Supplier Portal, Inventory, and Project Costing.
- Ability to complete testing and reviews based on functional and technical designs.
- Strong understanding of FSCM module functionality, process flows, key application tables, and data flow into core FSCM tables.
- Experience working in a global delivery team, serving as an Onshore/Offshore Coordinator.
- Ability to translate business requirements/issues into technical requirements and design.
- Full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.60 or higher.
- Experience reviewing PeopleSoft MP, bundles, patches, regulatory updates, and applying fixes.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
Nice to Have
- Project lead experience.
- PeopleSoft HCM experience.
