About the role
We’re recruiting a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our client’s team in a full-time, in-office role. Our client is a trusted leader in structural steel fabrication for commercial, industrial, institutional, and heritage projects, and this role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment that values innovation and continuous improvement. Working closely with both the CFO and GM, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting smooth day-to-day accounting operations. We are looking for a professional, communicative, and dependable individual to fill this role. Main responsibilities include:
- Utilize various software systems to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and submit tax reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Handle all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliations and financial report analysis.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including equipment logs, credit applications, and other required files.
- Collaborate with external accounting firms during the annual review process.
- Oversee contract and subcontractor documentation.

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in accounting and/or bookkeeping
- Minimum 4 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Good understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
- Own means of transportation – no public transit available
How You Will Be Rewarded:
- $25 - $32 / hour
