Could you be the full-time Construction Project Assistant in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your organizational and communication expertise in a dynamic and collaborative field. You’ll work alongside a dedicated and efficient team that values transparency and ethical behavior.
You'll play a key role in ensuring seamless coordination and communication within the OPC Construction Management team and with internal stakeholders. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with project teams, finance, procurement, and other Alstom participation units, while also liaising with customers and suppliers to support the successful delivery of administrative and operational tasks.
You’ll specifically take care of managing complex travel arrangements, facilitating project reporting, and supporting financial and procurement activities, but also contribute to safety compliance and project event preparation.
We’ll look to you for:
- Coordinating and prioritizing day-to-day administrative activities for the Construction Director and project team
- Managing travel arrangements, office allocations, and project directories
- Drafting and preparing materials such as emails, reports, and presentations
- Supporting financial activities, including cost updates, budget validation, and reconciliation of PR/PO status
- Acting as a liaison between the OPC team and procurement to ensure smooth vendor communication and documentation
- Contributing to project control activities, including WPR/MPR inputs, APSYS updates, and schedule coordination
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and facilitating management safety visits
- Preparing costing proposals, Gate documents, and bid inputs

- 5–10 years of relevant work experience

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $80,000 – $100,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
