As a Lab Technician, you will work in the mill's lab, generating and testing samples to ensure quality of product and support the paper-making process.

• Works with Operations, Technical and Maintenance teams to ensure samples and finished products meet quality standards while contributing to the overall efficiency and continuous improvement of the mill operation

• Complete testing and analysis to support paper-making

• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports, familiar with personal computers and spreadsheet programs

• Shift work when covering vacancies in the Treatment Plant

• Successful completion of an accredited N.B. S.C.E.T.T. Chemical Tech. Program or Environmental Technologist Program

• Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in technical or operational roles considered an asset

• Be capable and willing to move up the line of progression

• Must be willing to work various schedules to accommodate relief needs for the Treatment Plant operators
