Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support the health, comfort, and well-being of everyone in our home.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways according to daily and weekly schedules
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and follow established infection prevention and control practices
- Launder linens and the resident's personal items
- Safely use and store cleaning products and equipment in accordance with WHMIS guidelines
- Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and other support departments to ensure a positive resident experience
- Interact with residents in a respectful, compassionate, and dignified manner at all times
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control practices
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a positive, caring attitude
- Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Recent (within 6 months) Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Proof of Immunization for Hep B, MMR, and flu is required
- Recent (within 1 year) 2-step TB test required
