Coveo's Strategy & Business Value team is seeking a Senior Business Value Advisor - Commerce to support our North America growth strategy. This role anchors deep commerce expertise within a broader enterprise mandate: articulating and realizing value across the full customer and employee experience lifecycle. You will partner closely with Sales, Account Management, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Product to lead value assessments during the sales cycle and drive long term value realization across our installed base.
Coveo is uniquely positioned across the enterprise value chain, from digital lead generation and website engagement, to B2B and B2C commerce, to customer self service and agent enablement, to workplace search that drives employee productivity. In this role, you will analyze large datasets, build rigorous financial models, and connect cross functional performance metrics into a unified executive narrative. Your mission is to translate cross channel digital performance into clear financial outcomes, build compelling enterprise level business cases, and ensure customers continuously measure and realize value from Coveo across use cases.
As our Senior Business Value Advisor - Commerce, you will:
- Lead data driven value assessments by partnering with stakeholders across digital, commerce, service, support, and analytics teams to gather and analyze large datasets spanning traffic, engagement, conversion, revenue, margin, case deflection, cost to serve, and employee productivity.
- Use advanced Excel modeling and structured data analysis to identify performance gaps, quantify upside potential, isolate key value drivers, and translate digital performance metrics into incremental revenue, profitability impact, and ROI.
- Build rigorous financial models and executive ready business cases anchored in end to end customer experience flows and tailored to senior stakeholders.
- Define measurable success criteria aligned with the original business case and customer strategic objectives, establishing baseline metrics and cross functional impact measurement frameworks.
- Analyze post implementation performance data to validate realized value across conversion, revenue per visit, average order value, margin, engagement, and operational efficiency metrics, producing ROI reporting grounded in actual performance data.
- Partner with Customer Success and Account teams to embed value realization into long term account strategy, identify optimization and expansion opportunities, and ensure value tracking becomes an ongoing discipline rather than a one time exercise.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- 7+ years of experience in consulting, digital strategy, e-commerce analytics, software-as-a-service (SaaS) value engineering, or a similar analytical customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of digital commerce key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, revenue per visit, average order value, margin, and customer lifetime value.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills, including scenario analysis and financial projections, with experience working with large datasets.
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, persuasive business insights.
What will make you stand out:
- Experience working directly with customer analytics or data teams and navigating raw datasets independently.
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Experience in AI-driven commerce, personalization, or search technologies.
- Working knowledge of structured query language (SQL) for independent data analysis.
