About the role
We’re hiring a Marketing & Communications Coordinator. This role supports the Chartwells sector by developing marketing assets and managing communication and information flow across internal and external stakeholders. The position is responsible for ensuring that marketing initiatives, business projects, and communications are delivered accurately, on time, and in full, helping to strengthen the Chartwells brand and drive effective stakeholder engagement.
How You Will Make An Impact
Support in the creation of all marketing assets including brand and execution playbooks, templates, promotional collateral, internal & external websites Liaise with Operations Leads on special events for storytelling purposes. Develop internal and external communications for various channels including newsletters, employee engagement platforms and social media Craft compelling and on-trend social media content and manage the Sector social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok), create and edit short videos Manage the Sector SharePoint and ensure it is updated bi-weekly, accurately and includes all supporting materials and templates needed Develop key event calendars related to all core areas of the business – including provincial & national sports, holidays, and food culture days Support in the development of marketing promotions and campaigns Organize and schedule marketing-related activities for the Levy Canada team Manage measurement tools that report on the impact of marketing strategies/programs Lead and conduct regular meetings with stakeholders and departments to ensure proper tools are provided, timelines are met, information is complete, and expectations are clear
About You
Minimum of two years of experience in a Marketing or Communications role with a high level of accountability Bachelor of Arts Degree or a College Diploma in Marketing or Communications Experience managing Instagram, LinkedIn & TikTok accounts for business Demonstrate highly effective communication skills (written/verbal) Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to multi-task, organize, and plan effectively working with multiple deadlines Proficient knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, and Power Point Go-getter attitude with a passion for events, sports & entertainment and/or culinary
