We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our team of Resource Professionals. Our mission is to provide the highest calibre of service to meet the needs of our clients, and we are only as good as the people on our team. We are seeking an experiencedEngineering Specialist/Professional Engineerwho is motivated, positive, and dependable. This position can be based in either ourPrince Georgeoffice or one of ourLower Mainland BCoffices.

##DUTIES

The responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Contributing to the planning and execution of civil/structural engineering projects by supporting design tasks, technical analysis, and coordination activities.
  • Preparing and reviewing engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for bridges, roads, and related civil works.
  • Providing technical input and support to project teams, including EITs and field staff, as required.
  • Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to clarify requirements, provide updates, and address technical questions.
  • Conducting site visits and support construction supervision.
  • Ensuring all designs and deliverables comply with applicable codes, including the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code and EGBC standards.
  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

##QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or equivalent EIT experience
  • Registered or eligible for registration with EGBC
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in the design of bridges, roads, and other civil/structural works
  • Working knowledge of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code
  • Field experience in construction supervision
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Relevant experience in the BC resource industry (strong asset)
  • Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver’s licence
