Project Manager, Facilities Projects
Calgary, AB Up to $50/hr
Our client is a leading organization in the energy infrastructure sector; they are seeking a Project Manager to support the planning and execution of facility maintenance and capital projects across a large Canadian asset network.
Key Responsibilities
Manage capital and maintenance projects involving process safety-critical equipment and facility infrastructure. Plan, organize, and execute regulated facility programs while ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Develop project schedules, budgets, and spend forecasts in collaboration with project controls and support teams. Coordinate and oversee external consultants, contractors, and field resources. Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and data integrity enhancements. Support the development and implementation of project management standards, processes, and tools. Monitor project scope, schedule, costs, risks, and overall execution performance.
Qualifications
Experience managing projects within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors. Strong understanding of facility maintenance, capital projects, and regulated operating environments. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including operations, engineering, contractors, and project controls. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing schedule, cost, and scope. Midstream oil & gas facility experience is highly preferred.
Preferred Background
Experience supporting facility-based projects within pipelines, terminals, gas processing, compression, or other energy infrastructure environments. P.Eng designation or EIT is considered an asset.
