Description: This position is responsible for the provision of Advance Life Support in response to emergency calls from the area within and surrounding Banff National Park. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Registration with Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) as an Emergency Medical Technician ACLS required. Class 4 Driver's License and Driver's Abstract.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Formal leadership or supervisory experience in EMS or a related healthcare setting. Instructor certification in one or more Heart and Stroke Foundation programs (e.g., ACLS, PALS, BLS). Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Change management training or certification (e.g., Prosci®, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent). Experience in policy and procedure development. Project management experience (formal training an asset). Previous experience working in rural and remote emergency response environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to manage shift operations and make sound decisions in high-pressure environments. Competence with electronic patient care reporting (ePCR), CAD, and EMS communications technology. Physical and mental capacity to meet the full scope of ACP duties, including in complex environments, challenging and austere terrain, and weather conditions.
