We are looking for an experienced Parts Lead at our collision repair facility in Mississauga to oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department, including identification, ordering, and timely processing of parts and invoices.
This role is responsible for identifying inefficiencies within the parts supply chain and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance value and streamline operations.

What You’ll Do
- Identify, order and manage parts, dry goods and sundries as required
- Communicate expected lead times for parts delivery to relevant site personnel to ensure transparency and planning.
- Ensure timely racking of parts and receipting them on the system with clear instructions on their location
- Process invoices and credit notes efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Secure and label all parts that need to be returned
- Analyze trends within the parts supply chain that contribute to failures or rework and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance value.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the parts Coordinator to ensure team effectiveness.
- Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain
- Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals
What You’ll Bring
- Post-secondary education
- 2-5 years of proven leadership experience in automotive repair industry
- Knowledge of systems used for racking and receipting parts
- Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Genuine curiosity and an inquisitive approach, constantly seeking improvements for customers and colleagues
- Outstanding customer service and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies
- Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred
What You’ll Get
- The salary band for this position ranges from $80,000 to $95,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
