Dream Theory is an AI-assisted visual effects studio helping production companies, agencies, and brands integrate emerging technology into professional post-production workflows. From broadcast series to national commercial campaigns, we combine traditional VFX with AI-assisted techniques to deliver high-quality work efficiently without compromising creative standards.

We're looking for a Producer / Production Manager to help coordinate projects from kickoff through final delivery in Vancouver. This role is ideal for someone with experience in VFX production who enjoys building teams, keeping artists organized, supporting clients, and helping shape efficient production workflows. An interest in AI-assisted workflows is important, but hands-on experience with generative tools is a bonus—not a requirement.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating VFX and AI-assisted post-production projects from kickoff through delivery Building schedules, tracking progress, and helping keep projects on time and on budget Working closely with artists, supervisors, and clients to ensure projects stay organized and moving forward Assisting with crewing by identifying, coordinating, and onboarding freelance artists based on project needs Helping manage hybrid pipelines that combine traditional VFX workflows with AI-assisted tools Tracking shots, assets, versions, and deliveries Assisting with client communication, meeting notes, and project documentation Helping improve internal production workflows as our studio continues to grow Contributing to a collaborative, curious, and solutions-focused team culture

What we're looking for

3–5 years of experience in VFX, post-production, animation, advertising, or a related production environment A solid understanding of visual effects production workflows Experience helping crew projects and familiarity with the freelance VFX talent landscape Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills The ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent attention to detail Experience with Google Workspace and production tracking tools Familiarity with ShotGrid, ftrack, Monday, Notion, or similar platforms is an asset, but not required Curiosity about emerging AI tools and how they fit into professional post-production Nice to have: Experience with generative tools such as Higgsfield, Google Flow, Runway, or similar platforms Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or other VFX software Experience supporting commercial, broadcast, or feature film productions
