Summary The Warehouse Journeyman/Apprentice is responsible for management and maintenance of the shop, tool crib, and supplies for projects.
Anticipated Start Date: September 4, 2025
Location: CNRL Maintenance - Fort McMurray, AB
Shift: 7&7 Compressed (Nights)
Accommodation: Camp available
Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton, AB or Calgary, AB
Hourly Rate: $44.38 - 49.31 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)
Night Shift Premium: $3.00/hr
Job Duties
- Ship and receive materials and equipment
- Organize materials and tools for the worksite
- Maintain cleanliness in the shop and tool crib
- Present missing/overdue tool reports to supervision
- Maintain equipment and tools
- Create requisitions for replenishing low stock
- Mark new equipment with marking tool
- Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, and their proper handling, storage and preparation for work sites
- Experience in equipment and tool maintenance, with some related training preferred
- Good knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and repair (mechanically inclined)
- Ensure equipment and small tools are maintained and visual and annual inspections are done as required
- Perform visual inspections of tools before releasing from/accepting in tool crib
- Various shop maintenance duties will be required
Qualifications/Skills
- CSTS-09, BSO, or CSO
- Computer knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment
- Self-motivated
- Positive attitude and compliance towards safety
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
