London Children’s Connection is a vibrant and growing organization that provides excellence in licensed child care, early learning, and family support programs in London and the surrounding area.

We are seeking a creative and knowledgeable individual to join our dynamic People and Culture team. The successful candidate will help attract, motivate, and retain quality staff; support the People Services team; and represent London Children’s Connection in the community.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources required
  • Certified Human Resources Professional Designation CHRP/CHRL is an asset
  • Minimum five years of experience in the field of People Services
  • Minimum two years of leadership/supervisory experience
  • Minimum one year of experience in a high-volume recruitment environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full cycle recruitment and selection for our Before and After School Program as well as roles in our Children’s Centres
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the organization and child care/early years sector, to ensure all LCC programs and services are effectively staffed
  • Ensure effective recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, through active involvement and collaboration with team members and others
  • Provide ongoing support, feedback, and guidance, in accordance with applicable employment legislation, to team members and others, using a relational/strengths-based approach
  • Coordinate and/or participate in People and Culture related meetings/strategic sessions
  • Collaborate with colleagues and others, to achieve results that align with the guiding principles of the organization
  • Represent London Children's Connection in the community, building positive relationships to support our mission
