About the role
A unique opportunity is available for a skilled 2D Animator to create a visually engaging six-minute animated story. This project is a personal endeavor with the possibility of ongoing collaboration based on the quality of work and fit. The animator will have creative freedom to interpret the narrative and deliver a polished final animation. Remote work is fully supported, and the role is ideal for professionals seeking flexible, project-based assignments with the potential for future projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute high-quality 2D animation for a six-minute story, ensuring smooth transitions and compelling visual storytelling
- Collaborate closely to understand the narrative vision and translate it into engaging animation sequences
- Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and key scenes as required by the script
- Manage the animation pipeline from initial concept through to final delivery, including storyboarding, rough animation, clean-up, and compositing
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and make revisions to achieve the desired outcome
- Deliver all final assets in the required formats and within agreed timelines
Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience in 2D animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating narrative-driven work
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of character animation, timing, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration and feedback integration
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, professional results
- Availability for potential follow-up projects based on performance and fit
