Beaches Animal Hospitalwelcomes a dependable and caringAnimal Care Attendant, Receptionistto join our team full-time. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in an important support role for the entire hospital.
- Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians with various tasks and the treatment of pet patients
- Providing compassionate care duties, including feeding and walking patients
- General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
- Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures
- Compassion and a nurturing attitude
- Patient handling and restraint
- Client care, such as reception, payments and supportive communication
What’s required?
- Exceptional client service skills that build trust and loyalty with clients
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team
- Compassion and a nurturing attitude when providing care to clients and patients
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations
- Positive outlook and enthusiasm
- Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset
