About the Role

AWS Cloud Automation & Monitoring Engineer

Responsibilities

Build and manage AWS-based monitoring, automation, and event-driven solutions to enhance system reliability and incident response. Design and implement monitoring using CloudWatch (metrics, logs, dashboards, alarms). Build and maintain infrastructure using AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ALB, ASG). Develop event-driven architectures using Lambda, SNS, SQS, API Gateway. Integrate AWS alerts with ServiceNow (SNOW) for automated incident management. Automate operational tasks using SSM (Run Command, Documents). Implement Infrastructure as Code using CDK / CloudFormation. Write automation scripts in Python / Bash. Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, alerting, and remediation.
