About the role

Overview

We're supporting a large-scale global Workday HCM transformation programme focused on consolidating multiple business units onto a single Workday platform. The project is already underway and approximately 50% complete.

Key Responsibilities Lead delivery management activities across a complex data migration workstream. Manage the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of employee data into Workday HCM. Coordinate data migration activities across 16 different global source systems. Develop and manage detailed project plans, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications. Work closely with customers and project teams to influence solutions and drive successful outcomes. Provide strong delivery leadership, ensuring alignment between business, technical, and Workday teams.

Ideal Background Experienced Delivery Manager or Project Manager with strong stakeholder management skills. Previous experience leading Data Migration and Data Transformation projects. Ability to create detailed delivery plans and manage complex dependencies. Experience working within large enterprise transformation programmes.

Nice to Have Previous Workday implementation experience. Understanding of the Workday ecosystem and Workday data migration processes. Ability to challenge and guide technical approaches, particularly around migration scripts and data strategy.

Contract Details Initial 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. Programme roadmap extends for approximately 18 months. Additional projects are expected to kick off in this area, creating further opportunities. Immediate need driven by increased project demand, parental leave coverage, and team growth.

Location Preference for candidates based in Toronto or Halifax. Remote candidates will also be considered.

Time Zone Client operates in EST / AST time zones.

Rate Competitive market rate (dependent on experience).
