Location: Hybrid – Work from home and the WWF-Canada Head Office in Toronto

Department: Development - Community Giving

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Fundraising Events & Campaigns

Position Type: Full-time, Contract to April 16, 2027

Starting Salary Range: $62,400 - $67,000 annually (commensurate upon related skills and experience)

Position Description

The Specialist’s primary focus is to help lead the Community Giving department’s e-commerce program to motivate individuals across Canada to make purchases and support conservation efforts via WWF-Canada’s online store. The individual is responsible for driving revenue through symbolic animal adoptions, as well as product and digital gift sales, along with donations, and is accountable for the planning and execution of the e-commerce agenda across internal and external channels. This includes managing the logistical operations and supply chain from product procurement through to customer delivery, as well as marketing the annual campaign(s) to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate key partners (internal teams, external warehouse and distribution partners, product vendors, etc.) to facilitate and execute the program’s logistical operations, including product procurement, international supply chain oversight, warehousing, inventory, quality assurance, fulfilment and shipping.
  • Implement the e-commerce campaigns with annual revenue targets of $1.5M+, including the critical holiday campaign from October through December, by engaging and shepherding internal and external partners throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Act as WWF-Canada’s main point of contact for information and support pertaining to the E-Store portfolio, establishing strong rapport with key stakeholders (internal teams, warehouse and distribution partners, product vendors, etc.).
  • Collaborate with departments internally to deliver promotional campaigns to increase user engagement, execute plans, and increase return-on-investment (ROI) on each product/channel.
  • Manage the Shopify platform for the organization.
  • Leads the strategy, and provides guidance on the content development and copywriting for all ecommerce–related email communications. Engage external partners throughout the campaign lifecycle, from project briefing, concept development, to in-market execution, ensuring messaging is on brand, timely, relevant and in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and support work-back schedules, campaign budgets (including review of estimates and invoices), reports, and presentations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign results against goals and objectives in a timely manner, adjusting campaign tactics as necessary,
  • Gather in-depth campaign and program metrics to provide comprehensive analytics and insights that inform program decisions.
  • Support the organization’s larger fundraising and events portfolios, as needed.
  • Assist the Development team, as required, with other related duties contributing to the mandate and successful operation of the department and organization.

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of progressive project management experience and/or experience specifically in a revenue generating position.
  • Related post-secondary education in project management, fundraising, business, marketing OR an additional 2+ years of related experience.
  • Experience managing e-commerce platforms and/or campaigns, with Shopify familiarity being an asset.
  • Experience working on projects with numerous overlapping deadlines and explicit quantitative and qualitative goals.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate the mission of WWF-Canada and ability to motivate others in a variety of settings.
  • Experience monitoring and reporting on revenue goals and expense budgets, including the creation and maintenance of project and revenue trackers.
  • Ability to work as a team member, while setting and meeting your own individual goals and expectations.
  • Knowledge of cross-channel marketing and how to communicate with various audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and embraces the use of technology to manage projects, databases, and activities.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Asana an asset.
  • Experience working with a charity/non-profit organization an asset.

Other Information

  • This role may require occasional travel nationally to attend, support, and/or set-up events.
  • This position may require the individual to occasionally work outside of normal business hours on evenings or weekends to attend events.
