The Role:
Our Optiks International - East Hills location is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest Store Manager.
The Store Manager plays a critical role within solis optics and is crucial to our success by delivering world-class service to our customers. You'll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring with you your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Fostering collaboration and teamwork among practice staff
- Building trust and commitment with your workgroup
- Training, development and coaching of staff to Solis Optical processes, programs, and products
- Delivering legendary customer service
- Setting and obtaining store revenue goals
- Hiring, onboarding and training of new staff
- Scheduling of staff/doctors
- AR/AP
- Benefits submissions and tracking
- Banking deposits and reconciliations
- Inventory management
- All leadership aspects of daily store operations
What Do You Bring?
- Minimum two years experience in a customer service focused retail environment
- Minimum one-year experience in a coaching or leadership role
- Registered Optician in Alberta
- Experience in an optical environment is an asset
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities via critical thought and problem solving
- A reputation for delivering results through successful people management
- General PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
