We are looking for a motivated Completions Technician to join our fast-paced Development Operations team! You will have the exciting opportunity to be part of an active engineering and operations team responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of operations related to well completions and/or drilling activities. Become a part of one of Canada’s largest independent oil and gas producers.
- Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts
- Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:
- Perform and manage regulatory, cost and general reporting for the completions/and or drilling departments
- Perform regulatory submissions across all provinces within Canadian Natural operations
- Manage the partner reporting process within the development operations group
- Perform aspects of the cost invoicing process including reviewing and verifying all field costs and invoices
- Support engineering and operations teams with data acquisition and management
- Aid in the review of well records, lookbacks as well as provide support with ongoing operations
- Acquire hands-on experience with software programs including Wellview, Siteview, Accumap and Tableau
What You Bring to the Role:
- 2 to 5 years of completions/drilling experience in the oil and gas industry
- Technical degree or diploma, or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Familiarity with and understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements and environmental regulations
