Fixed Wireless Performance Specialist

The Fixed Wireless Performance Specialist is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the performance of Xplore’s Fixed Wireless network. This role focuses on identifying performance degradations, capacity constraints, and configuration issues across RAN and backhaul domains. The Performance Specialist works closely with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to implement corrective actions, support new feature introduction, and continuously improve customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
Network Performance Monitoring & Analysis
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across Fixed Wireless RAN and backhaul. Identify trends, anomalies, and systemic performance issues.
Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
Perform detailed root-cause analysis for performance degradations and customer-impacting issues. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to drive resolution.
Optimization & Remediation Support
Recommend and support configuration changes, feature adjustments, and optimization initiatives. Validate performance improvements post-implementation.
Capacity & Spectral Efficiency Support
Assist with identifying capacity constraints and spectral efficiency opportunities. Support demand-driven performance improvement initiatives.
New Feature & Software Release Support
Support validation of new network features and software releases from a performance perspective. Monitor post-release impact and stability.
Reporting, Insights & Communication
Produce performance reports, dashboards, and insights for internal stakeholders. Clearly communicate risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Tooling, Automation & Data Quality
Use and enhance performance monitoring tools and analytics platforms. Ensure accuracy and consistency of performance data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Participate in cross-functional forums and value-stream teams focused on service experience improvement. Support operational readiness and incident postmortems.
An Ideal Candidate will have
Credentials & Qualifications Education & Professional Background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in wireless performance engineering, network operations, or RF analysis. Technical Expertise Strong understanding of LTE/5G Fixed Wireless Access and RAN performance metrics. Experience with OSS tools, performance analytics platforms, and telemetry systems. Working knowledge of RF fundamentals, backhaul performance, and configuration principles.
Professional Competencies
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to diverse audiences. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
