Job Description Cardi Construction is seeking a high-energy leader to bridge the gap between site operations and project management. We need a seasoned pro with at least 10 years of civil infrastructure experience to drive our crews forward and manage diverse projects from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Operations Management: Direct field crews in the City of Hamilton, Halton Region, Niagara, and Burlington for water, sanitary, and storm road cuts, as well as new home builder site installations.
- Infrastructure Execution: Oversee the professional installation of catch basins and manholes, and the precise assembly of watermains (6-inch diameter or greater).
- Precision & Tech: Utilize pipe lasers and layout tools to ensure pinpoint accuracy on every install.
- Compliance: Oversee all documentation to ensure sites exceed OTM Book 7, OSHA, and municipal standards.
- Mentorship: Build a winning team culture by mentoring and training your crew to reach their full potential.
What You Bring:
- Safety Leadership: A safety-conscious mindset with a steadfast commitment to achieving an objective of zero incidents through proactive hazard recognition and strict protocol enforcement.
- Deep Experience: Extensive background in sewer, watermain, and civil servicing within Ontario's municipal standards.
- Certifications: Expert knowledge of OTM Book 7, Trench Box Safety, Confined Space Entry, and WHMIS.
- Leadership DNA: The ability to manage complex civil projects while keeping safety, quality, and professional mentorship at the forefront.
