##Software Design Assurance Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualifiedDesign Assurance Engineerto join our team. The successful candidate will view and assess supplier’s airborne software and electronic hardware designs to ensure they meet Our technical requirements and regulatory requirements.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid
##Responsibilities
- Participate in preliminary and critical system design reviews.
- Evaluate and assess suppliers’ certification plans for airborne software and electronic hardware.
- Review and analyze suppliers’ designs for airborne software and electronic components, including FPGA, ASIC, and PLD technologies.
- Conduct technical and process audits at supplier facilities.
- Perform safety‑of‑flight assessments.
- Review software and hardware test results, perform analyses, and determine final compliance status.
- Lead the resolution of safety, compliance, and technical issues in collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Prepare and/or evaluate design compliance documentation.
- Contribute to the advancement of the Software and Electronics domain roadmap.
- Mentor and support less experienced engineering professionals.
##Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience working with various engineering disciplines (Systems, Software, Hardware, and Mechanical Engineering) and Project Engineers to ensure milestone deliveries are met and potential risks are mitigated.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in technical engineering, ideally in aeronautics.
- Strong working knowledge of airborne software and electronic hardware standards and Means of Compliance, such as DO-178.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (Ex. DOORS, JAMA, Windchill).
- Proficiency in several programming languages (C, C++, ADA95, Assembly, Python) and in various hardware description languages.
- Knowledge of embedded computing architectures.
- Understanding of operating systems and real‑time executive
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Broad knowledge of electronics and software development principles.
- Experience working with civil aircraft and airworthiness authorities and regulatory bodies.
- A demonstrated track record of being proactive, adaptable, flexible, innovative, and accountable, with strong integrity.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with multiple priorities.
