The Role
We're looking for a Sr. Full Stack Developer (remote) to add to our dynamic and motivated team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with commonly used tools such as Node.js, React.js and Redux and be comfortable working at any level of the stack. You will also need to be opinionated on the use of automation tools for building, testing and releasing your software to a live production environment. Please do not apply if you are not familiar with node.js and services.
You’ll Be Responsible For**:**

develop front end applications and work on services.
-
code-review other developers' code.
-
write technical documentation, tests and stories.
-
participate in design and requirements workshops, stand-ups, retrospectives.
-
participate in developer roundtable sessions to help improve our process, tooling and techniques.
-
manage deployments of features to production.
-
shape and continuously improve our development process.
-
coach junior developers and assist with regular lunch and learn sessions

What You Bring:
-
working with services built in Javacript frameworks (bonus points for Node)
-
working with designers to transform mockups into functional user interfaces.

with JavaScript development, testing and debugging
-
with a JavaScript framework (preferably React).
-
with UI state management (e.g. with Redux).
-
styling front end applications with CSS and/or SASS.
-
presenting your ideas and code to other members of the team.
-
working with testing frameworks
-
clearly presenting your ideas and code to other developers, and accepting and incorporating constructive feedback for further iterations.
Bonus Points:
-
familiarity with JavaScript bundling tools (e.g. Webpack).

experience with analytics tooling.
-
experience with Lambda and AWS.
-
experience with financial software or working in the Fintech world
-
understanding of Agile / Scrum practices
-
experience with paired programming and other extreme programming practices

This role has a salary range of $120,000- $150,000 CAD which accounts for the skills you’ll bring to the team, the impact you’ll have on the business, and the growth you’ll experience in the role.
