- Improve and maintain the Sales KPI Catalog and data dictionary (win rate, conversion funnel, cycle time, churn, forecast accuracy, volume, revenues).
- Build, automate, maintain and improve weekly/monthly dashboards and executive views; publish commentary, insights, risks, and recommended actions.
- Lead forecast management with Sales leadership and Revenue Management; ensure alignment across tools and teams.
- Oversee the annual top‑down vs bottom‑up budgeting process for Sales.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis on target misses across customer, zone/lane, parcel profile, and product mix dimensions.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
- Monitor industry trends, including last‑mile innovation, ecommerce shifts and carrier strategies.
- Analyze macroeconomic, regulatory, and infrastructure developments that impact ecommerce parcel flows and delivery economics.
- Track competitive dynamics: pricing patterns, service offerings, network expansions, partnerships, and new market entrants.
- Produce quarterly market intelligence briefs to support Sales, AMs, leadership, and cross‑functional teams.
- Identify whitespace opportunities, emerging customer needs, and market signals that could influence our commercial strategy or product direction.
- Support Sales and Product with insights during new product explorations or service model evolution.
Account Manager Support & QBR Preparation
- Standardize and maintain a QBR pack (deck, pre‑read, KPIs, follow‑up tracker), with customization by account.
- Improve account scorecards: revenue/margin trend, product penetration, SLA/OTD, incidents & claims, CSAT, share of wallet, and growth plays.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities in collaboration with Account Managers; build clear business cases and financial impact models.
- Work with Marketing to maintain QBR collateral, benchmarks, narratives, and best practices.
Revenue Management Partnership (Pricing & Profitability)
- Partner with Revenue Management (and their analysts) on rate strategies, price positioning, and competitiveness.
- Support deal modeling and scenario analyses for new and existing business.
- Track the performance of pricing initiatives against underlying business cases; provide insights and recommendations.
- Bridge operational performance with commercial impact on margin and retention.
Thought Leadership & Cross‑Functional Influence
- Produce executive briefs for internal and external MBR/QBRs, synthesizing complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Represent Sales Insights in cross‑functional initiatives involving Product, Operations, Marketing, and Revenue Management.
- Play an active role in strategic planning cycles by connecting market insights, customer trends, and internal performance signals.
Qualifications Required
- 3–6 years in Sales Analytics, Revenue/Commercial Analytics or Market Intelligence — ideally in logistics, parcel/express, ecommerce, or B2B services.
- Fluency with Power BI and advanced Excel.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Exceptional communication and data storytelling for executive audiences; strong sense of ownership and follow‑through.
Preferred
- Experience with Revenue Management; familiarity with zone‑based pricing and lane economics.
- Exposure to operational logistics metrics (SLA/OTD, claims, route density) and how they influence commercial outcomes.
- Bilingual English/French.The person in this role communicates on a daily (or regular) basis with stakeholders across Canada.
