Summary:

Position: Shipping & Receiving Staff

Department: Supply Chain

Reports to: Shipping & Receiving Team Lead

Work Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hourly Rate: $17.60 - $20.60

Location: Aurora, ON

What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the Shipping Group Lead, this position is responsible for clerical tasks supporting the shipping and receiving team to ensure safe and effective operation, in addition to timely shipments and delivery of products.

Support all types of shipping functions such as shipping and re-shipping courier and freight orders.

Receiving deliveries including raw materials and returned items.

Inspect incoming shipments to prevent acceptance of items with document shortages or shipment damages.

Track and verify accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Examine outgoing shipments to comply with specification standards.

Identify shipping information and maintain shipping instructions.

Apply required labels and administer a suitable method of shipment.

Manage and maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

Assist in the preparation of shipping reports, clerical duties, and coordination with couriers.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of safety and quality standards if preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Previous work experience is not necessary but may be advantageous.

Able to work overtime and/or shift work.
