What does a Pre-Boarding Screening Officer do?
- Screen passengers, non-passengers, and baggage
- Control access to restricted areas
- Interact with the public and provide professional, ethical customer service
- Follow regulations and procedures while demonstrating critical thinking
What are the qualifications to become a Pre-Boarding Screening Officer?
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Fluent in French , both spoken and written
- Knowledge of English is an asset
- Have at least one (1) year of customer service experience
- Have a clear criminal record and be eligible to obtain a CIZR
- Be able to obtain a medical certificate and meet the physical requirements of the position
