What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance and CVIP inspections
- Operate buses for testing and diagnostics as required
- Maintain accurate service records and support parts procurement
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and management to meet shop priorities
- Keep your workspace safe, clean, and organized
- Mentor apprentices and participate in training programs
What We’re Looking For
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET), Commercial Transport, or Heavy Duty Automotive (with Air Brake endorsement)
- CVIP License (or willingness to obtain during your probationary period)
- 2–5 years of related hands-on mechanic experience
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement (maximum 3 demerits)
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and safety-first mindset
Bonus Points
- Transit or fleet maintenance experience
- Experience with work order management systems
- Class 1, 2 or 3 license with the air endorsement
