Own the receivables cycle for one of the GTA’s most established names in construction.
If you know your way around progress billings, holdbacks, and job costing — and you’re tired of being one cog in a big finance department — this role gives you the full AR cycle, end to end. You’ll work directly with our Controller, see your analysis land in front of decision-makers, and close the month knowing exactly which numbers are yours. No layers, no silos.

What You’ll Own
- The full billing cycle for our project-based business: progress billings, holdback invoicing and releases under the Construction Act, and contract-accurate customer records
- Collections — monitoring aging, partnering with project managers and clients, and keeping cash moving
- Monthly and final job reconciliations, digging into variances with operations until you find the root cause
- Monthly GL reconciliations to firm closing deadlines, plus month-end and year-end working papers
- AR reporting that gets used: aging analysis, metrics, and cash-receipt forecasting for management
What You Bring
- 5+ years of progressive accounts receivable experience
- Construction or project-based industry experience, with working knowledge of progress billings, holdbacks, and job costing
- Experience with construction ERP systems; QuickBooks Enterprise an asset
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and strong reconciliation discipline
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Clear communication and the steadiness to hit firm month-end deadlines

- $65,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience
