About the role
SSRG is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee client accounts, support security operations, and maintain strong client relationships within our Uniformed Security portfolio in the Lower Mainland.
The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that all SSRG clients within the Uniformed Security portfolio in the Lower Mainland region of BC receive the services agreed to and stipulated in the contract. The successful candidate will establish and nurture an ongoing productive relationship with the clients' representatives, ensuring that lines of communication are established, maintained, and continuously open.
The Account Manager will develop an understanding of each client's business and operating processes to identify contracted security requirements and provide practical, cost-effective solutions on an ongoing basis. The position also requires demonstrating accountability and leadership in working with internal guarding teams at the site level.

Responsibilities
Manage assigned client accounts within SSRG's Uniformed Security portfolio and ensure services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, company standards, and client expectations. Ensure adequate security personnel are deployed to client sites, trained, equipped, and supported. Maintain strong client relationships by keeping clients informed of issues, operational updates, and matters affecting their organization or facility. Monitor service quality, client satisfaction, site performance, and internal processes, providing regular feedback and supporting corrective action and issuing LOE, s when required. Develop an understanding of each client's operations, expectations, and unique security needs to support effective service delivery. Work closely with the Security Professionals and operations leadership to resolve staffing, coverage, performance, and service delivery issues. Provide leadership and guidance to site-level teams, ensuring expectations are clear and performance standards are maintained. Respond to urgent operational matters in a calm, professional, and solution-focused manner, including outside regular office hours when needed. Foster a culture where people feel safe, respected, and empowered to do their best work, while upholding company policies, safety standards, and client expectations. Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and strong knowledge of SSRG's services, standards, and client-focused approach.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory, management, or account management role within the security industry or a related field Strong knowledge of security operations, site-level service delivery, and client account management Hands-on experience in the security industry, with a strong understanding of frontline security operations Excellent client service, customer relations, and communication skills Valid BC Driver's Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract Must have access to a reliable vehicle; car allowance provided High school diploma required; post-secondary education is considered an asset Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Take ownership of challenges in the field by acting with initiative, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset, even when working independently. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to respond to urgent matters calmly and professionally Effectively prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment. Experience with scheduling software is considered an asset
Working Conditions
Traditional office hours with the need to be available outside of scheduled hours to respond to urgent operational matters. Combination of office-based and field-based work, including regular client site visits across the Lower Mainland. Remote work may be available when operationally possible. Travel within the Lower Mainland is required.
