True Diesel Ltd. is a leader in heavy-duty diagnostics and repair for trucks, agricultural, and industrial equipment. We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to upgrade and maintain our digital infrastructure, diagnostic workstations, and connected systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain diagnostic software and related IT infrastructure
Manage and secure servers, user accounts, network connections, and data storage systems
Troubleshoot connectivity, software licensing, and device communication issues
Oversee system updates, backups, and disaster-recovery protocols
Support integration of diagnostic tools and database systems for shop operations
Document configurations, network maps, and technical procedures
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems, networking, and data security
Experience with system administration, user management, and software deployment
Experience with automotive and industrial diagnostic software and tools
Familiarity with microcontroller boards and embedded systems is an asset
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Work Conditions
On-site role at our Lethbridge facility
Fast-paced environment supporting multiple technical teams
Occasional after-hours support during maintenance windows

Able to work independently and collaboratively

They specialize in truck, trailer, and bus inspection and repair, offering services such as Advanced diagnostics & solutions, CVIP inspections, ABS repairs, general maintenance, oil changes, and total in-frame engine replacements for all makes including Cat, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Volvo, and Mack. They operate a 10,000 square foot facility and are a licensed heavy duty inspection facility.
