About the role
Youth Development Coach | High-Energy Leader for Kids
Location: KidStrong Newmarket Part-Time | $17.95–$24.00/hour Paid training is provided. During training, coaches are paid Ontario minimum wage. Upon successful completion of Coach Certification, coaches become eligible for performance-based wage increases. Top-performing coaches can earn up to $24.00/hour based on coaching ability, reliability, leadership, and overall contribution.

They're mentors, role models, and leaders who help children build confidence, strength, and life skills through fun, high-energy classes.
We're looking for people with incredible personalities who can inspire kids, build relationships with families, and create an experience that children can't wait to come back to every week.
About KidStrong KidStrong is a science-backed children's training program that helps kids build confidence, strength, and life skills through movement.
Our structured 45-minute classes combine physical, cognitive, and character development for children from walking age through 11 years old.
Our mission is simple: Help Kids Win at Life.
What You'll Do Lead fun, engaging 45-minute classes for children from walking age through 11 years old. Deliver the KidStrong curriculum with energy, confidence, and enthusiasm. Create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment where every child can succeed. Build genuine relationships with children and their families. Celebrate progress and help every child build confidence. Support camps, birthday parties, community events, and special programs. Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to deliver an exceptional class experience. Continue developing your coaching skills through KidStrong training and certification.
Who We're Looking For The ideal coach is: Passionate about working with kids. High-energy, outgoing, and naturally engaging. Comfortable leading groups and commanding attention. Coachable and eager to learn. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Physically active and comfortable demonstrating movements. A strong communicator and supportive teammate. CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification).
Experience working with children is an asset, but it's not required. Many of our best coaches come from backgrounds in sports, fitness, dance, gymnastics, theatre, recreation, education, camps, customer service, or leadership roles.
