The Impact You’ll Make:

Our Hosts are the living embodiment of our loved and trusted hotel brands. Driven to serve, they help ensure the memories our guests take home with them are as spectacular as the properties they visit. The Host/ Barista is responsible to welcome our guests and sell food and beverage products through our Grab & Go Outlet. As the Host you will greet and seat guests that are dining in our Grill & Vine Restaurant.

What we are looking for:

Position Requirements:

  • Maintain a clear workstation
  • Acknowledge and seat guests that come to dine the restaurant
  • Prepare specialty hot and cold beverages
  • Sell items though the Micros POS System
  • Restock items and counting items for ordering
  • Reconcile daily float
  • Prepare packaging for takeout orders

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a similar size/type of property
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for dealing with and emotionally connecting with others
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Serving It Right Certificate
  • FoodSafe Level 1
  • Diploma or Certificate in Hotel/Restaurant Management or the equivalent is preferred
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to lift to 20lbs on a regular and continuing basis
  • Ability to provide a satisfactory criminal record check
