Director, Marketing & Growth (Bilingual)
Moto Canada is a national, not-for-profit industry association representing manufacturers and distributors of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, side-by-sides (ROVs), and related powersports industries across Canada. As the voice of the industry, Moto Canada plays a critical role in advancing public policy that supports responsible use, innovation, safety, sustainability, and long-term industry growth within an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Operating at the intersection of industry, government, and riders, Moto Canada collaborates closely with policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and stakeholders across Canada to shape legislation and influence policy outcomes that impact its members nationwide.
As part of its continued evolution and growth, Moto Canada is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing & Growth to provide financial leadership across the organization and its initiatives, including Moto Connect, an industry intelligence and data platform designed to deliver valuable insights and support industry advancement.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director of Marketing & Growth will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial strategy, planning, reporting, compliance, and operational finance functions while serving as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and Board of Directors.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of Moto Canada's marketing, communications, and growth initiatives Drive the evolution and growth of national events, enhancing attendance, engagement, sponsorship value, and overall attendee experience Develop and manage sponsorship, partnership, and commercial programs across events, digital platforms, and industry initiatives Support the growth and positioning of Moto Connect, including member engagement, brand awareness, and commercialization initiatives Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels Strengthen member, dealer, and stakeholder engagement across the Canadian powersports ecosystem Identify and support new revenue-generating opportunities, products, services, and partnerships Enhance Moto Canada's national profile through strategic communications, public relations, and industry outreach Collaborate with manufacturers, dealers, media partners, government stakeholders, and industry leaders to strengthen relationships and drive participation Analyze market trends, member feedback, audience data, and industry insights to inform marketing and growth strategies Oversee content development, brand management, website performance, and digital engagement initiatives Manage external vendors, agencies, and event partners as required Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement activities Lead and mentor team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
Skills & Qualifications
Seven (7) to twelve (12) years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, partnerships, events, business development, or related disciplines Experience leading marketing strategies and campaigns that drive audience engagement, membership growth, sponsorship revenue, or commercial outcomes Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, social media, communications, and brand management Experience planning and managing conferences, trade shows, events, or industry programs Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, members, and external stakeholders Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Commercially minded with the ability to identify and support revenue-generating opportunities Experience working in associations, not-for-profit organizations, membership-based environments, or industry organizations is considered an asset Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data and insights to guide decision-making Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Collaborative, proactive, and hands-on leadership style Fluently bilingual in English and French
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Hybrid role based in the Greater Toronto Area
Travel within Canada required, particularly during event season
