About the role

Your Opportunity:

As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will operate in one or more of the specialized, highly technical environments of Nuclear Medicine. Working with a high level of independence, you will assess patients, analyze, and interpret diagnostic data, and provide information to the Radiologist to assist in diagnosis, clinical intervention, and patient management. Description:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. As a NMT I, you will perform Nuclear Medicine procedures as described in the department procedure manual using a wide range of equipment such as gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, cardiac stress equipment, and radiation safety devices.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Nuclear Medicine Technologists – Lasix certification as required. ACMDTT Enhanced practice authorization for PET/CTSPECT/CT. ACMDTT Enhanced practice authorization for Contrast Media Injections. N95 fitting.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years Nuclear Medicine/PET experience. Connect Care Training preferred.
