About the role
Who you are
- 10+ years of related experience in customer-facing pre-sales, post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting roles, with a focus on Cloud Native and Data Lakes. Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of designing and implementing Kubernetes-based solutions, including troubleshooting and optimising performance, security, and deployments
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their Kubernetes offerings, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient in Python or Java, with experience in coding, documenting solutions, and using white-boarding techniques
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)) are a plus
- Strong Data Engineering and Data Quality expertise, including Trino, Spark, K8s, Kafka and Airflow.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working directly with clients, including conflict resolution and managing expectations
- Strong background in big data technologies such as Trino, Spark, Hive, Kafka and Airflow
What the job involves
- We are seeking a technical Resident Solution Architect to lead impactful customer technical projects and guide clients through the implementation of cutting-edge data solutions
- In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, Trino and big data systems to design and deliver production-grade MVPs, reference architectures, and demo applications for our customers
- You will provide hands-on leadership, working closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure successful deployment, post-sales support, and long-term adoption of Acceldata solutions
- Your ability to troubleshoot complex deployments, optimize performance, and resolve product issues will be critical to driving customer success
- Lead impactful customer technical projects, including building reference architectures, how-to guides, demo applications, and delivering production-grade MVPs
- Provide technical leadership and consultation to support customers in post-sales, guiding them through the architecture, design, and implementation of Acceldata solutions to ensure successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption
- Guide customers through the implementation of transformational data projects, including third-party migrations, installation, and deployment of Acceldata solutions across various environments
- Collaborate with internal technical teams, Project Managers, Architects, and customers to ensure the successful delivery of technical components and resolution of product and support issues
- Provide feedback to product management and engineering on product gaps and implementation improvements to drive long-term customer success
