Your Contributions to the Team

  • Plan, execute and control major investment projects for the St-Laurent Manufacturing Center;
  • Establish and understand the needs and priorities of your internal customers;
  • Solve various problems and propose potential solutions;
  • Estimate the costs and the implementation schedule;
  • Communicate clearly at different hierarchical levels in the Organization;
  • Coordinate the work taking into account the various constraints;
  • Participate in the overall planning of construction work;
  • Follow up on the progress of work with construction contractors;
  • Contribute to improving the processes of your work team.

How to Thrive in This Role

  • You are a student in mechanical, construction or civil engineering or a related discipline;
  • You ave skills for project management;
  • You are an excellent oral and written communicator;
  • You know how to use the MS Office 365 suite;
  • You are a team player and interact with people with ease;
  • You have a capacity for analysis and problem solving;
  • You have initiative, are organized and professional;
  • You are comfortable working in a unionized manufacturing environment;
  • You are able to work in French (both spoken and written) on a daily basis; knowledge of English is a plus;
  • You are able to work two days per week at our St-Laurent site and possibly more if needed.

Boarding Information:

  • Location: Marcel-Laurin Plant 1
  • Duration: 8 months
  • Flexible workplace-Hybrid

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
