About the role
Role:Business Intelligence Consultant (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout:$40 - $50/hour
Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant (Excel) to work on a contract basis to design, develop, and maintain Excel-based dashboards and reports. The role requires translating business requirements into functional Excel solutions to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build interactive Excel dashboards using pivot tables, charts, and slicers for executive reporting.
- Develop automated Excel workflows with macros and VBA for data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements for reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across Excel models and reports.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Excel tools and functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS), pivot tables, and data validation.
- Experience with Excel macros and VBA for automation and custom functions.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret business data and produce actionable insights.
- Ability to create visually effective charts, graphs, and dashboards.
- Familiarity with data sources such as SQL databases, CSV files, or ERP systems.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables and error-free reports.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
