As our Commercial Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in the healthcare and long-term care industries. You'll proactively build relationships with decision-makers in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and healthcare networks while maintaining and nurturing existing client partnerships. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding the unique needs of these facilities and delivering solutions that make a real difference in times of crisis.
This isn't just a sales role-it's a strategic growth position focused on building strong partnerships, deepening trust, and positioning First Onsite as the go-to partner for property restoration in healthcare environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the healthcare and long-term care sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with facility managers, operations leaders, and procurement teams across hospitals, long-term care homes, and medical institutions.
- Act as the key point of contact for existing clients-ensuring satisfaction, retention, and continued growth.
- Conduct regular prospecting and networking to grow your pipeline and build awareness of First OneSite's solutions within the healthcare vertical.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored service offerings that meet client-specific needs in critical and sensitive environments.
- Keep up to date with competitor activities, market trends, and sector regulations within healthcare and property restoration.
- Represent First Onsite at industry events, conferences, and networking functions specific to healthcare and facility management.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to align campaigns with client needs and gather valuable market feedback.
What You Bring
- 2-5 years of experience in field sales, business development, or a related role, ideally focused on healthcare or facilities management.
- Proven ability to build and manage client relationships with a long-term strategic approach.
- A strong existing network within healthcare, long-term care, or commercial facility management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and consultative selling skills-you know how to listen, understand, and deliver value.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven by results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferably, experience in the restoration/property/healthcare/ insurance field.
