DarkVision is looking for a versatile and proactive Business Support Administrator to support our growing company. This is not a traditional, siloed HR role; you will be a true generalist who blends essential HR administration with critical business compliance, vendor coordination, and general business operations support. If you are highly organized, process-driven, and want a comprehensive role with high visibility across the company, this is the role for you.

What You Will Do

Operational Compliance & HSE Management: Oversee and manage British Columbia and Alberta HSE documentation, including regulatory filings, reporting, and compliance requirements. Partner with Operations to ensure employment-related agreements and contractor documentation are issued, executed, and filed properly. Program & Lifecycle Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of the company’s Canadian benefits program. Support annual performance and compensation review cycles by partnering with managers to drive timelines and ensuring all reviews and compensation recommendations are meticulously archived. Mobility & Workforce Support: Coordinate the administrative workflows for work permitting and immigration, collaborating with operations to collect, verify, and submit necessary documentation for visa applications. Draft and issue employment verification letters and other routine corporate correspondence. Recruitment Coordination and Support: Provide scheduling and administrative support to DarkVision’s recruiter, ensuring interview processes are streamlined and candidates receive a top tier hiring experience with the company. System Implementation & Technology: Support the rollout, data migration, and internal adoption of new business support systems as the company scales. Act as a key administrative point of contact, collaborating closely with the HR Leader, third-party software vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth change management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience: Open to a new graduate or a couple of years’ of experience blending HR administration, general business operations, or compliance coordination Collaboration & Discretion: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with managers and operations teams while maintaining strict confidentiality. Process & Project Management: Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage timelines, coordinate with external vendors, and handle structured project rollouts. The "Generalist" Mindset: A proactive, detail-oriented attitude and the agility to balance compliance-driven paperwork with dynamic, cross-functional projects.

What Will Put You Ahead

Experience performing a wide range of administrative work across different domains or subject matter. Strong demonstrated track record of proactiveness and ownership.

General Salary Range

For this role, we anticipate paying $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
