Role: Front Desk Receptionist (Care Team Member)

Locations: Burlington, ON Role Overview: We're looking for someone who not only aligns with our mission and values but is also passionate about creating an exceptional client experience. In this role, you'll support individuals and families through every stage of their journey-from fertility and pregnancy to paediatric care and beyond-helping ensure every client feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

Hours

Monday,Wednesday, Thursday 2:00pm-8:00pm, and Saturdays 8:30-3:00 Responsibilities: Optimize the flow of people coming to and moving through The WOMB everyday with love.

Ensures every client is “signed in” at the front desk for appointments

Provides a full tour of The WOMB, explaining services, classes, workshops and benefits. Communicates clearly and efficiently with clients to book workshops, classes and appointments with the practitioner they request or give them all options as an entry into care that pertains to their needs. Books appropriate classes, workshops and appointments for clients and their families with accuracy. Balances all incoming financial transactions (VISA, MC, AMEX, cheques, cash, debits, e-transfers) to the penny every day both electronically and on paper. Enthusiastically attends and participates in bi-weekly admin team meetings with input as to how we can fulfill our mission more fully and create an inspiring environment Responds to emails on the same day it is received and leaves communications when appropriate for other members of the admin team to follow up if necessary.

Answers all inbound calls with a “smile”

Organizes, washes and folds hand towels, gowns and sheets as needed throughout each day.

Washes and stocks dishes and silverware on a regular basis through the day

Ensures the cleanliness of The WOMB and takes appropriate action to tidy and clean when needed Helps with childminding when appropriate Qualifications: A positive, professional and flexible attitude Ability to work in a team environment Proficiency with computers and office equipment. Experience using JANE software is an asset.

Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Experience working in a wellness centre is an asset.
