Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Conducting product verification on all compliance packs to ensure completeness and accuracy of prescription orders.
- Operating and maintaining the Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine® (VBM) for weekly compliance pack production.
- Verifying compliance packs using VBM software.
- Preparing and packaging medications quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
- Ensuring timely preparation and delivery of compliance packs.
- Managing inventory and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for drug storage, handling, returns, and disposal.
- Upholding Pillway’s commitment to a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.
What You Bring
- Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing.
- Valid liability insurance to legally practice as an RPhT.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an RPhT in a pharmacy environment
- Experience in high-volume filling environments is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable standing for portions of the shift.
