About the role

Job Description

HR, payroll, and workforce data are becoming more connected to the financial decisions businesses make every day, from labor costs and payroll accuracy to compliance, headcount planning, and business forecasting. For many mid-market organizations, these workflows remain manual, disconnected, and difficult to reconcile across HR and Finance. Sage HCM connects HR, payroll, workforce data, and financial management through Sage Intacct, creating a strong opportunity to define a clear value proposition in a crowded HCM and payroll market.

AI agents are a key part of Sage’s innovation in this space. Sage HCM launched with the HCM Agent, focused on HR and payroll workflows such as payroll preparation, validation, reconciliation, and surfacing potential compliance risks. This reflects Sage’s broader “glass box” approach to AI, designed to make recommendations transparent, explainable, and auditable in workflows where trust, accuracy, and accountability matter.

As Senior Product Marketing Manager, HCM & Payroll, you will help turn Sage’s connected HCM, payroll, finance, and AI strategy into clear market value. Working closely with Product, Sales, Growth & Performance Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner teams, you will shape positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement, customer migration and adoption programs, and growth initiatives across Sage’s North American HCM, payroll, and workforce management portfolio.

This is a high-impact role for a product marketer who can define a compelling value proposition, deeply understand customer pain points, and bring strong sales motion and revenue awareness to how messaging is built and used in the market. You should be able to simplify complex buyer and product nuance, translate customer needs, competitive insights, and product capabilities into clear messaging, and help customers and internal teams understand why Sage, why now, and why this solution.

Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Growth and Customer Success teams within a global matrixed organization.
