THE JOB
We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner who's looking to make an impact as part of a growing, award-winning organization.
The Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in supporting strategic financial decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for analyzing financial results, developing forecasts, and identifying trends to improve operations. The Finance Business Partner collaborates with internal teams to streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. This position contributes to the overall financial health and performance of the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Analyze financial results, develop forecasts, improve budgeting processes, identify trends, and provide recommendations to management Identify and implement process and procedure improvements, adopt best practices, and ensure compliance with policies and controls Prepare presentations on financial performance for internal and external stakeholders Develop expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Business Central, or Microsoft Navision, and PowerBI and support initiatives to streamline financial business processes Provide support to manager for initiatives and projects to streamline financial business processes Coordinate and support other teams, assist with month-end and year-end closings, and provide ad hoc reports to management Work with other finance team members to ensure timely closing of month end and year end for all subsidiaries Provide other ad hoc reports to management as required
WHAT YOU BRING
Ideally you are a self-starter who is highly organized and can deliver against tight timelines. You thrive when working on multiple projects using your analytical skills to deliver results. Your advanced written and verbal communication skills will be used to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups and deliver excellent presentations. In addition, you bring:
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance- CPA Designation preferred Minimum 3 years of financial reporting or financial planning and analysis experience Advanced Excel and PowerPoint user, experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI would be an asset Proficiency with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Business Central is definitely a plus Strong knowledge of ASPE and GAAP Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and time management skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
