About the role
As a Supply Chain Analyst you will play a critical role in analyzing, optimizing and enhancing supply chain operations. You will be responsible for driving strategic decisions across procurement, logistics, demand planning and supplier performance.
Location: Mississauga, ON
Salary: $74,600 to $107,800 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in Ontario. Your Challenge
- Develop and maintain cycle count program for site
- Investigate variances and drive root-cause corrective actions
- Ensure inventory transactions are completed timely and accurately
- Collaborate with Operations and Finance on cycle counting results
- Collaborate with Purchasing on inventory discrepancies and supplier-related issues
- Ensure cycle counting process meets internal control, audit, and financial reporting requirements
- Act as point of contact for internal and external auditors
- Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions
- Identify and implement improvements to inventory control processes
- Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and report trends and issues
- Develop and maintain inventory policies for stocking, replenishment, and safety stock
- Identify and maintain ABC classifications for inventory to determine counting frequency, control level, and replenishment strategy
What You Bring
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to work with large datasets, perform descriptive and diagnostic analytics, build dashboards/reports and identify trends.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles including procurement, logistics, demand planning and inventory management.
- Five + years proven experience with industry supply-chain environment.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and performance.
- Ability to understand and execute work under emergent and strict scheduling deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to present findings, interact with cross-functional teams, and support reports to management.
- Experience with ERP/MRP (Oracle preferred) system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.
